Mindy Brunet

It is with great sadness to inform that we have lost another dear loved one today. Mindy (Dec 25, 2008 – May 25, 2021) has passed away from illness symptomatic of the onset of liver cancer. Mindy was very much loved by her pet-mom, Pierrette, and her pet-uncle, Georges, who visited everyday, always with a “cookie” treat in hand. Simon & Loriann and family always welcomed Mindy to Sunday brunches at their home (and was the only four-legged non-resident allowed on their furniture). And, next door, Uncle Frank (and an agreeable Auntie Evelyn) were always proud to take care of Mindy whenever a sitter was needed. Mindy loved her daily walks and being outside of her pen; she (usually) stuck around, people-watching from the top of the driveway. Although Mindy was adopted into a pack, she ultimately thrived as the lone Top Dog of the house and relished all the attention that she hadn’t require to share. In Mom’s words, “she was the best little dog in the world” for her.  It’s quieter in the house now, but the menagerie in Heaven has become a whole lot livelier. Mindy will be truly missed.
