Brockville Animal Hospital is excited to be expanding again.

We are looking for a full or part time veterinarian to join our multi-vet small animal practice located along the beautiful St Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands area, an hour south of Ottawa and 45 minutes east from Kingston. This outstanding water recreational area is well known for its 1000 Islands Parkway, its river cruises and castles, scuba diving, the Aquatarium, Canada’s first railway tunnel, as well as its beautiful parks and camping areas. Brockville’s family friendly atmosphere, in an area with no rush hour traffic, makes it an ideal place to work while finding that much sought after work/life balance.

Brockville Animal Hospital has served the surrounding area for more than 40 years and is a well-established, much respected, cutting edge, practice that strives to provide amazing client service while delivering our much loved companion animal patients, the care that they need. We empower clients to take a proactive role in their pet’s care through client education and innovative new technologies while striving to keep pace with the ever-changing field of veterinary medicine. Ready to embrace change, we look forward to welcoming new ideas and techniques. Our hospital has recently undergone an extensive renovation creating three more exam rooms, an expanded treatment area, a dental suite, and a surgical suite resulting in a spacious well lite clinic that is a pleasure to work in. We offer cold therapy laser, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, ultrasonography, in house laboratory services, acupuncture, and conventional medicine for dogs, cats and exotics as well as alternative medicine therapies. We offer flexible hours, great support staff with well qualified RVT’s and VA’s, team building activities, weekly staff and DVM meetings, great CE opportunities, and  an excellent inter-vet support system with  minimal after hours on call expectations through the use of shared on call between local clinics and nearby emergency clinics.
